1980	Completed the Master Course at Kyoto City University of Arts, Japanese-style Painting Course
1981	Received Shunki-ten Award in “Shunki Sokaku ten”
1982	Received an honorable mention in Tokyo Central Museum Japanese Painting Grand Prize Exhibition
1986	Received Grand Prize in the 1st Kawabata Ryuushi Grand Prize Exhibition
1990	Received Semi Grand Prize and Citizen Award in the 1st Suga Tatehiko Grand Prize Exhibition
1992	Received Cultural Encouraging Prize from Kyoto prefecture (including overseas study)
1995	Received Union Formative Design Award
1997	Received Takashimaya Art Award
2000	Received New Artist Award in Kyoto City Art Award
2006	Worked on the painting for the State Guesthouse at Kyoto Imperial Palace
2007	Completed murals on the ceiling and the cedar doors of “Hojo” room at Rokuon Temple (Kinkaku Temple) to celebrate the room’s construction
