1957 Born in Tokushima prefecture
1979 Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Oil Painting Cours; received the Ohashi Award
1981 Completed a Masters Course at Tokyo University of the Arts
1984 Became an assistant at Tokyo University of the Arts, Oil Painting Course
(kept post until ’87)
1987 Became a part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts (continued until ’88)
Received Mr. O Memorial Award
Received the Grand Prize in the ’87 Oil Painting Grand Prize Exhibition held at Tokyo Central Museum
Exhibited in Basel Art Expo (and again in ’88 and ’89)
1988 Exhibited in New York Art Expo (and again in ’90)
